TGT Science Teacher Job in Janjgir Champa, Chhattisgarh | School Recruitment
Day‑to‑day work involves delivering engaging science lessons to classes 6 to 8, conducting laboratory experiments, and guiding students through practical investigations that reinforce theoretical concepts.
Scope of the role
The teacher plans and executes a curriculum aligned with state standards, prepares teaching materials, and facilitates classroom discussions. Responsibilities include supervising lab safety, managing class resources, and fostering an environment where curiosity thrives.
Core academic duties
Prepare lesson plans that integrate theory with hands‑on experiments. Deliver instruction using a variety of teaching aids and multimedia resources. Mentor students in scientific inquiry, problem‑solving, and collaborative projects. Coordinate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary learning where relevant.
Assessment and planning duties
Design and administer quizzes, tests, and practical assessments to gauge student understanding. Analyze results to adjust instructional strategies. Participate in curriculum review meetings and contribute to the development of annual teaching plans.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in any discipline. Minimum of two years experience in teaching science at the middle‑school level. B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
Salary and location
Competitive package of Rs.17,000 – Rs.30,000 per month. Position based in Janjgir, Janjgir Champa, Chhattisgarh, at Dev Public School | Basantpur. Full‑time employment.
