Responsibilities
1. Design, implement and monitor individualized education plans for students with special needs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
2. Conduct regular assessments and maintain detailed records to track progress and modify interventions as required.
3. Lead a team of support staff, providing training, guidance and performance feedback to enhance service quality.
4. Collaborate with school leadership to integrate inclusive practices into the broader curriculum and school policies.
5. Liaise with parents, therapists and external agencies to coordinate resources and support services.
6. Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies, highlighting outcomes and areas for improvement.
7. Manage the special education budget, overseeing procurement of assistive devices and learning materials.
8. Organize awareness programs and workshops for students, staff and the community to promote inclusion.
Qualification
The candidate must hold a postgraduate qualification along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed and should have at least four years of experience in special education administration. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, familiarity with special education frameworks is essential.
Salary
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs.30,000 to Rs.40,000.
