Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging English lessons for secondary students, aligning with the Gujarat curriculum and school standards.
Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
Develop supplementary teaching materials, including worksheets and digital resources, to enhance classroom interaction.
Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum planning sessions, and professional development workshops to stay current with pedagogical best practices.
Mentor junior teachers and coordinate extracurricular activities such as debates, literary clubs, and essay competitions.
Maintain accurate attendance records, attendance sheets, and student performance logs in accordance with school policy.
Collaborate with parents and school administration to address student needs and promote a supportive learning environment.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in English, Education, or a related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary English literature, grammar, and teaching methodologies.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably in a school setting.
Experience in preparing students for board examinations and conducting mock tests is an advantage.
Salary and Employment Type
Full‑time position with a competitive salary ranging from Rs.35,000 to Rs.55,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
