PGT History Teacher Position at St. Mary’s English School, Bhavnagar
St. Mary’s English School in Bhavnagar seeks a dedicated PGT History Teacher to enrich the academic curriculum with engaging, evidence-based lessons. This role requires a passionate educator with a strong foundation in Indian history, culture, and contemporary global contexts. The teacher will develop and implement innovative teaching methods, including interactive lectures, debates, and project-based learning, to make history accessible and relevant. The position demands a proactive approach to lesson planning, assessment, and student engagement.
A postgraduate degree in History or a related discipline is mandatory, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. At least two years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting is required, preferably in History or a related subject. The successful candidate will also contribute to school-wide initiatives, such as extracurricular programs and collaborative curriculum development.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 55,000 per month, along with opportunities to shape an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.
