PRT Music Teacher Position at Shannen The World School, Vadodara
Shannen The World School | Gotri in Vadodara is seeking a dedicated PRT Music Teacher to inspire young minds with the joy of music. This role involves teaching foundational music skills across grades, fostering creativity, and aligning with the school’s holistic learning approach. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for classical, instrumental, and vocal music while adapting teaching methods to diverse learning abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct daily music classes, covering singing, instrumental techniques, and music theory for students.
2. Design engaging lesson plans that integrate music into broader curriculum themes and co-curricular activities.
3. Assess student progress through practical evaluations, ensuring alignment with school music curriculum standards.
4. Collaborate with the music coordinator to plan school-wide music events, performances, and extracurricular programs.
5. Maintain a well-organized music classroom, including instruments, sheet music, and teaching aids.
6. Support student participation in school festivals, competitions, and cultural events related to music.
7. Provide feedback and guidance to students on improving their musical skills and confidence.
8. Ensure compliance with school policies on student safety, behavior, and academic standards during music lessons.
To qualify, a graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is essential. A strong passion for music and at least two years of teaching experience—preferably in schools—are highly valued. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset. Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and a commitment to nurturing young musicians are key.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.15,000 to Rs.32,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in Vadodara’s vibrant educational environment.
