Responsibilities
The PGT Mathematics Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that foster analytical thinking among students.
Planning and implementing lesson plans that align with school objectives, while incorporating varied teaching aids and technology, is essential.
Assessment of student progress through quizzes, assignments, and periodic tests, followed by constructive feedback, will be a core duty.
Mentoring junior teachers and contributing to curriculum development sessions ensures continuous improvement of mathematics instruction.
Participation in school activities, parent‑teacher meetings, and academic conferences enhances the learning environment.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Mathematics or related field is mandatory.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required for teaching positions.
TET or CTET certification is preferred, though not compulsory.
Experience
A minimum of four years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a school setting is expected.
Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics and to inspire student interest in mathematics is essential.
Salary
Competitive remuneration of Rs.40,000 – Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
