Your Students

Your lessons will help them see how GDP growth, inflation, and fiscal policies impact their daily lives. Classroom engagement will decide whether they see Economics as a subject or a life skill.
Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare weekly lesson plans aligned with CBSE guidelines for Classes 11 and 12 Economics. Use real data from RBI reports and Union Budgets to explain concepts like demand-supply curves and fiscal deficits. Conduct regular class tests and mock exams to track progress in problem-solving and numerical ability.
Organize interactive sessions where students debate current economic issues such as demonetization’s impact or GST’s effects on small traders. Encourage students to present projects on local markets like Sadar Bazar or Sector 34’s wholesale hubs.
Guide students on research projects that connect classroom theory with local economic realities. Assist in organizing school-level seminars where students interact with bankers, CA professionals, and entrepreneurs from Gurugram’s business community.
Maintain updated teaching aids including charts on circular flow of income and digital simulations for market equilibrium. Keep track of student doubts and address them through doubt-clearing sessions after regular classes.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Economics with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed degree is mandatory for this PGT Economics Teacher Vacancy in Gurugram. Prior teaching experience of at least three years in Economics for Classes 11-12 is required.
