What You Will Do
As a PRT Social Science Teacher at Delhi Public School, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching Social Science to students from classes VI to X, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to meet the academic needs of students.
- Coaching students for board exams, guiding them to achieve excellent results and fostering a competitive spirit.
- Collaborating with the senior management and teachers to design and implement curriculum reforms, ensuring alignment with national educational standards.
- Conducting regular assessments and providing constructive feedback to students, helping them improve their academic performance.
- Organizing educational trips, field visits, and other extracurricular activities to enhance student learning experiences.
- Maintaining records of student progress, attendance, and assessments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Participating in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and other activities that promote student growth and development.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Science or a related field, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of three years of teaching experience in Social Science, with a proven track record of academic excellence.
- Possession of TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
