Key Responsibilities
As a TGT Physical Education Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:
* Teaching physical education classes to students of various age groups, focusing on team sports, individual sports, and games
* Developing and implementing lesson plans that meet the needs of all students, including those with special needs
* Assessing student progress and providing feedback to help them improve their physical skills and knowledge
* Managing the physical education curriculum, including the selection of equipment, materials, and resources
* Maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment for all students
* Collaborating with other teachers to plan and deliver integrated units of work that incorporate physical education with other subjects
* Supervising students during physical education classes, ensuring their safety and well-being
* Participating in school events, such as sports days, and other physical activities that promote a healthy lifestyle
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance

To be eligible for this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field, with a B.Ed. degree or D.El.Ed. qualification. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting is also required. Preference will be given to candidates who have a TET/CTET qualification.
