Classroom Profile

As a TGT Social Science Teacher at Delhi Public School, you will be expected to create an inclusive learning environment that caters to the needs of all students. You will work with students from Class VI to Class VIII, teaching Social Science subjects like History, Geography, and Civics.

Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Use a range of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Assess student learning and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra help
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement integrated lesson plans
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in school events and activities that promote Social Science education
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Social Science education and implement them in the classroom

Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you should have a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree in Social Science or a related field. A post-graduate degree in Social Science or a related field is preferred. You should also have a valid TET or CTET certification, although this is not mandatory.
