Seeking a dedicated TGT Social Science Teacher for Maitree International School in Gurugram
Maitree International School invites a passionate educator to join its team as a TGT Social Science Teacher. This role requires a strong foundation in social sciences, including history, geography, economics, and civics, to engage students effectively. The position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month, along with a postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject.
Core Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum, ensuring comprehensive coverage of social science topics. Develop interactive teaching methods to foster critical thinking and analytical skills among students. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, including written tests, projects, and classroom observations.
Additional Duties
Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to social awareness, such as debates, model rallies, or cultural programs. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate social science concepts into interdisciplinary projects. Assist in organizing field trips, guest lectures, or workshops to enhance students’ understanding of real-world social issues.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related discipline. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of teaching experience in social sciences. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career growth. The ideal candidate should demonstrate enthusiasm for shaping young minds with a deep commitment to academic excellence.
