Future Point Public School in Hisar seeks a dedicated TGT Physical Education Teacher to inspire and develop active, healthy students through engaging sports and fitness programs. This role focuses on creating a vibrant physical education environment that aligns with modern curriculum standards while fostering discipline, teamwork, and lifelong wellness habits.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily physical activities tailored to students’ age groups, ensuring safety and inclusivity. Organize drills, games, and team sports like football, basketball, or cricket to promote physical fitness. Monitor student participation, provide constructive feedback, and address any injuries or health concerns promptly. Prepare lesson plans that integrate basic sports rules, health benefits, and fun learning experiences.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Coordinate with school management to ensure Physical Education is part of the curriculum, adapting activities for different grades. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education into cross-subject learning, such as science or social studies through real-world applications. Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and participation in sports events. Represent the school in local inter-house sports competitions or events.
Periodic Responsibilities
Prepare and update the school’s physical education syllabus and resource materials, including equipment maintenance checks. Organize seasonal sports festivals or inter-school tournaments to boost student morale and showcase teamwork. Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss students’ physical development and share success stories from sports activities.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a specialization or relevant experience in Physical Education. Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in schools with a focus on sports and fitness. Knowledge of TET/CTET guidelines is beneficial but not mandatory. Familiarity with Haryana’s school curriculum for Physical Education is a plus.
Salary and Location
