3. Acquire new books and other learning materials for the library, within the allocated budget.
4. Supervise library staff, including junior librarians and library assistants.
5. Plan and implement library programs, workshops, and activities for students.
6. Develop and maintain a library website, online catalog, and social media presence.
7. Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into their teaching and learning practices.
8. Maintain accurate records of library statistics, including circulation, usage, and budget.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
- Graduate degree in Library Science or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in a school library setting.
- Proficiency in library software and digital tools.
Good to Have:
- Experience with library management systems and online resources.
- Familiarity with school library standards and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Leadership and management skills to motivate and direct library staff.
