PGT Music Teacher Position at Lumina World School in Jind
Lumina World School in Jind seeks an experienced and passionate PGT Music Teacher to inspire and develop students’ musical talents. This role involves shaping young minds through engaging music education, aligning with the school’s commitment to holistic learning.
You will design and deliver comprehensive music lessons, covering theory, instruments, and performance skills. Curriculum development will include age-appropriate programs, ensuring alignment with school standards. Classroom instruction will incorporate interactive techniques, group activities, and individual feedback to foster creativity and discipline.
Teaching responsibilities extend to organizing school music events, including concerts, festivals, and cultural programs. Collaboration with other faculty will enhance interdisciplinary projects, such as integrating music with arts or social studies. Maintaining student records and ensuring compliance with academic policies is part of your duties.
Assessment methods will include practical evaluations, written tests, and performance auditions. You will also mentor junior teachers, sharing best practices and supporting their growth. Attendance at professional development workshops may be encouraged to stay updated on teaching trends.
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least three years of relevant teaching experience is essential. A strong foundation in music education, including instrumental or vocal expertise, is highly valued. The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.30,000 to Rs.50,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, student-centered environment in Jind, Haryana.
