Job Overview
Dbk International School, a leading educational institution in Narwana, Jind, Haryana, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sports Hod to lead our school's sports department.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Coordinate with the Physical Education department to plan and implement sports activities.
- Organize and supervise school sports events, tournaments, and competitions.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for sports programs.
- Supervise and mentor sports coaches and instructors.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote physical education and health awareness.
- Maintain and update sports equipment and facilities.
- Monitor and report on student participation and achievement in sports.
- Develop and manage the school's sports budget.
- Liaise with local sports associations and clubs to provide opportunities for students.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Physical Education or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a sports administration or coaching role.
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed required for teaching positions.
- TET/CTET preferred.
Good to Have:
- Certification in sports management or administration.
- Experience in managing sports teams or events.
