About This Role
As a PGT Economics Teacher at St. Meera Convent School, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students. You will be responsible for teaching Economics to students in the senior secondary section, developing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans for Economics, aligned with the CBSE curriculum
- Conduct classes for students in the senior secondary section
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare and administer assessments, quizzes, and exams
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school policies
- Participate in school events and activities, including parent-teacher meetings and open houses
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Economics and incorporate relevant materials into the curriculum
- Contribute to the development of the school's Economics program
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Economics (MA/M.Com/MBA) with a specialization in Economics
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- CTET or TET clearance
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.30,000 - Rs.55,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
