About This Role
We invite applications for a full-time PGT Geography Teacher to join our faculty at Hindu Sr. Sec. School. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching Geography to students from classes VI to XII. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of our school's curriculum, mentor students, and engage in co-curricular activities.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver lessons on various aspects of Geography to students of classes VI to XII.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and projects to cater to different learning styles.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for Geography.
- Mentor students and provide support to those who require extra help.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, such as school excursions and field trips.
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Geography and integrate them into the curriculum.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the decision-making process.
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field from a recognized university.
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
