Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced TGT English Teacher to join our team at Yaduvanshi Shiksha Niketan, Mahendergarh. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging English curriculum to students in grades 9-12. Your expertise in teaching English literature, language, and communication skills will play a vital role in helping students develop a strong foundation in the subject.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Design and deliver lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Teach English literature, language, and communication skills to students in grades 9-12.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their performance.
- Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate student learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute extracurricular activities and events.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in English Literature or a related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree required for teaching positions.
- TET or CTET certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in English at the senior secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
