Role Summary
Rps Public School | Kosli invites applications for the post of PGT Botany Teacher to join its dedicated team of educators. As a PGT Botany Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Botany to students and contributing to the development of the school's curriculum. This is a full-time position that requires a postgraduate degree in Botany or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
What You Will Do
1. Teach Botany to students in grades 11 and 12.
2. Prepare lesson plans and deliver lectures on Botany topics.
3. Conduct experiments and demonstrations to illustrate Botany concepts.
4. Assess student progress and provide feedback.
5. Develop and implement the school's Botany curriculum.
6. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
7. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects.
9. Stay up-to-date with developments in Botany education and incorporate new ideas into the classroom.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Botany or a related field (M.Sc. Botany, M.A. Botany, etc.).
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. for teaching positions.
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not required.
Good to Have:
- Experience in teaching Botany to students in grades 11 and 12.
- Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum and assessment methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
