Bus Conductor Job in Sonipat, Haryana | School Vacancy
Job Overview
The Bus Conductor plays a key role in ensuring safe, timely, and comfortable transportation for students of Dev Rishi Sr Sec School Sonepat. This position requires careful coordination with the school administration, drivers, and parents to maintain smooth daily operations. Handling student safety and vehicle discipline falls under the conductor’s responsibility.
What You Will Do
Ensure every student is seated and seat belts fastened before the bus departs from Dev Rishi Sr Sec School Sonepat.
Verify daily attendance of students on the bus and report discrepancies to the transport supervisor.
Collect transport fees from parents at pickup points and maintain accurate receipt records.
Assist students in boarding and alighting safely, especially during peak morning and evening hours.
Monitor bus interiors for cleanliness and report any damage or maintenance needs to the transport in-charge.
Coordinate with drivers to follow designated routes and maintain punctuality.
Handle minor disputes among students and report serious issues to the school transport coordinator.
Keep emergency contact details of parents updated and assist during any on-route incidents.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Graduate in any discipline
Minimum 3 years of experience in passenger transport or school transport
Valid driving license and clean driving record preferred
Good knowledge of local routes around Sonipat
Good to Have
Prior experience as a bus conductor in a school or institution
Familiarity with traffic rules and passenger safety norms
Local residence in Sonipat for quick response during emergencies
Preferred Skills
