Day-to-Day Duties
- Maintain a clean and safe bus environment for students.
- Drive the school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic rules.
- Ensure students board and exit the bus safely, following established procedures.
- Monitor student behavior on the bus and report any misbehavior to the school administration.
- Maintain accurate records of bus routes, schedules, and maintenance requirements.
- Perform routine bus inspections to ensure optimal working condition.
- Participate in school events and activities, such as field trips and excursions.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to resolve transportation-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL).
- 3 years of experience as a bus driver in a school setting.
- Good physical health and ability to lift heavy loads.
Preferred Skills
- Leadership and management skills to handle transportation-related issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
