Strategic Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective Mathematics curricula that align with the school's academic vision and goals
* Lead and manage the Mathematics department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
* Plan and conduct training sessions for teachers to improve Mathematics pedagogy
* Collaborate with other departments to integrate Mathematics with other subjects
* Monitor student progress and achievement in Mathematics
* Develop and implement assessments and evaluation tools to measure student learning
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Supervise and mentor junior teachers and staff members
* Represent the school in Mathematics-related events and activities
* Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
* Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and well-being
What You Bring
* Post-graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
* TET or CTET certification preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching Mathematics in a school setting
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
