What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students, aligning with the CBSE curriculum
- Prepare and administer Science assessments, projects, and experiments
- Provide individualized attention to students, monitoring their progress and understanding
- Develop and maintain a positive learning environment, promoting student participation and engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement Science-based projects and activities
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and performance
- Participate in staff development programs, enhancing teaching skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results
- Contribute to the school's Science department, participating in curriculum development and review
- Engage in extracurricular activities, such as Science fairs, competitions, and workshops
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized university
- Valid TET/CTET certificate (preferred but not mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a PRT Science Teacher in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE Science curriculum for Classes 6-10
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Good to Have
- M.Sc. in Science or a related field
- Experience with project-based learning and inquiry-based science education
- Familiarity with technology-enhanced learning tools and platforms
Preferred Skills
- Ability to create engaging and interactive Science lessons
- Strong classroom management and discipline skills
- Willingness to participate in staff development programs and training sessions
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced school environment
