- Conducting Science experiments and demonstrations in the laboratory
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement Science curriculum
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to school development
- Supervising students during Science-related activities and events
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) degree
- Valid Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certification (although not mandatory, it is preferred)
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills in Science
- Proven experience of teaching Science to students aged 10-16 years
Preferred Skills
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:
- Excellent digital literacy and ability to integrate technology into teaching
- Familiarity with online teaching tools such as Google Classroom and LMS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
