The reality of this role
At New Don Basco Academy you will handle classes of 8‑10 students daily, guiding them through Sanskrit grammar, literature and conversation. Lessons are conducted in a mix of traditional chalk‑board methods and digital tools available in the Patratu campus. You will coordinate with the Hindi and English departments for interdisciplinary projects and assist in cultural events that celebrate Jharkhand’s heritage.
What you will actually do
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans aligned with the state syllabus for Class IX to XII.
- Conduct regular assessments, quizzes and oral exams to track student progress.
- Organize Sanskrit recitation competitions and participate in school functions.
- Maintain attendance registers and update student records in the school’s portal.
- Provide remedial support to students who need extra help after school hours.
- Liaise with parents during PTMs to discuss performance and improvement plans.
- Contribute to the development of teaching resources and sample papers for the Sanskrit Teacher Job in Ramgarh.
- Attend faculty meetings and professional development workshops organized by the academy.
Who can do this job
A postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the TGT level is required. Holding a valid TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
What you need to bring
Strong command over Sanskrit grammar, Vedic texts and modern pedagogical techniques. Ability to make lessons interactive and relatable for teenagers. Patience, good communication skills and a collaborative attitude towards fellow teachers.
