Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily physical education classes, ensuring age-appropriate activities that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline.
Design and implement seasonal sports programs, including cricket, basketball, athletics, and indoor games, with regular training sessions.
Oversee extracurricular sports events, competitions, and inter-school tournaments, ensuring fair play and student participation.
Develop and maintain school records for student athletic performance, including progress reports and participation certificates.
Collaborate with the principal and staff to integrate physical education into the curriculum, ensuring alignment with school policies.
Assist in organizing school events like sports fests, charity runs, and health awareness campaigns.
Monitor student safety during outdoor activities, ensuring compliance with school and local guidelines.
Prepare and maintain equipment storage, cleaning, and upkeep for sports facilities.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field.
Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification with at least four years of teaching experience in Physical Education.
Prefer candidates with experience in shaping student athletics and character development.
Must hold a valid TET/CTET certificate for school teaching roles.
Familiarity with Jharkhand’s school sports curriculum and local regulations is a plus.
