Grade formative assessments through online quizzes on Kahoot and Socrative, then export data for individual feedback sessions. Organise virtual guest lectures by local NGO leaders on tribal displacement and women’s collectives. Maintain a digital portfolio of student projects that parents can view on the parent portal. Conduct weekly analytics reviews to identify at-risk learners and schedule targeted Google Meet catch-ups. Collaborate with the geography department to co-create cross-disciplinary case studies on urbanisation in Ranchi. Attend monthly tech integration meetings to share best practices with peers.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Sociology with minimum 55% marks from a recognised Indian university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed from an NCTE-approved institution is mandatory. State or national TET qualification is preferred but not compulsory.
Preferred Skills
Fluency in Google Workspace, Canva for Education, and Mentimeter for live polling. Experience with LMS platforms such as Moodle or Open edX is a plus. Comfort with creating screencasts and editing short videos using CapCut or Adobe Rush for asynchronous lessons. Ability to train students and colleagues in basic digital citizenship and safe online research practices.
