The reality of this role
This is a full-time Primary Teacher English position at Techno Convent Public School for Grade 1 to 5. You will handle four classes daily, each of 35–40 students from local Sahibganj families. Your classroom is a single room with chalkboard, charts, and basic English kits supplied by the school.
What you will actually do
Plan daily English lessons for Grades 1–5 based on the NCERT syllabus and local board patterns.
Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, and simple writing through stories and poems suited to young learners.
Create flash cards and charts on your own time to keep the classroom lively.
Conduct weekly spelling bees and short dictations in each section.
Prepare monthly unit tests and mark answer sheets by evening.
Attend staff meetings every Saturday to plan upcoming month’s activities.
Assist in school events like annual day or sports day when English skits are needed.
Coordinate with the senior English teacher to share resources and ideas.
Who can do this job
Graduate in English or Education with B.Ed or D.El.Ed.
Two years of English teaching experience in any primary school.
