Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver advanced-level Botany lessons aligned with CBSE/ICSE syllabus, ensuring conceptual clarity and practical application.
2. Design engaging lab experiments and field studies to enhance student understanding of plant biology, genetics, and ecology.
3. Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, worksheets, and project-based assessments tailored to high school students.
4. Collaborate with the science department to integrate botany concepts across interdisciplinary studies.
5. Maintain updated laboratory resources and ensure safe, well-organized experimental setups.
6. Act as a mentor to junior teachers, sharing best practices in botany teaching methodologies.
7. Participate in school-wide curriculum reviews to refine botany education standards.
8. Assist in organizing science fairs, workshops, and guest lectures on emerging botanical research.
To apply, candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Botany or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of three years of teaching experience in Botany or science subjects is essential. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position.
