About This Role
Tbs International School Firozpur invites applications for a full-time College Punjabi Teacher to teach senior secondary students. The role involves planning lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering interest in Punjabi literature and language. Candidates with experience in school-level Punjabi instruction will be preferred.
What You Will Do
Teach Punjabi language and literature to classes 11 and 12.
Prepare structured lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to students.
Organize cultural activities related to Punjabi heritage.
Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with subject teachers for inter-disciplinary projects.
Participate in school events and parent-teacher meetings.
Support students in preparing for Punjabi exams and competitions.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Graduation in Punjabi with at least 50% marks.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
3 years of teaching experience in Punjabi at school level.
Fluency in written and spoken Punjabi and English.
Good to Have
TET or CTET certification in Punjabi.
Experience in curriculum development or textbook writing.
Familiarity with digital teaching tools for language instruction.
Preferred Skills
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to engage students through interactive teaching methods.
Patience and adaptability in handling diverse learning needs.
What You Get
