Responsibilities
Teach fundamental and advanced physical education concepts, including athletics, gymnastics, and team sports, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards. Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse student abilities, using modern teaching tools and equipment. Organize and supervise extracurricular sports events, tournaments, and fitness challenges to boost student participation. Collaborate with the school’s sports coordinator to maintain equipment, facilities, and safety standards. Mentor students in sportsmanship, leadership, and personal wellness through practical demonstrations and motivational guidance.
Requirements
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of relevant teaching experience in physical education. A strong passion for sports science, pedagogy, and youth development is essential. Knowledge of Punjab’s school sports curriculum and local sports regulations will be highly beneficial. Familiarity with sports psychology and injury prevention techniques is a plus. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering a positive athletic environment.
Compensation
This PRT Physical Education Teacher position offers a competitive monthly salary of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 50,000, along with opportunities for professional growth and participation in school-led sports initiatives.
