Lord Krishna International School | Kapurthala Lodhi is looking for a full‑time PRT Physical Education Teacher to join its faculty in Sultanpur Lodhi, Kapurthala. The role involves delivering the school’s physical education curriculum to primary and middle‑grade students and fostering a healthy, active environment.
Role Responsibilities
The teacher will plan and conduct daily physical education classes, ensuring activities are age‑appropriate and aligned with the school’s syllabus. Lessons will include a variety of sports, games, fitness drills, and yoga, aimed at developing motor skills, teamwork, and overall well‑being. The teacher will assess student performance, maintain records of attendance and progress, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents. Coordination with the senior staff to organise inter‑school competitions, sports days and extracurricular clubs forms an essential part of the job. Additionally, the teacher will manage equipment, ensure safety standards are met during all activities, and promote a culture of regular physical activity throughout the campus.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a graduate degree along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Completion of TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in physical education at the school level is required, with proven ability to handle diverse student groups and conduct various sports programmes. Strong communication skills in English and Punjabi, along with a passion for encouraging healthy lifestyles, are essential.
Salary and Employment Type
