About This Role
Dayanad Model School is looking for an experienced PRT Dance Teacher to join its faculty in Jalandhar 1, Jalandhar, Punjab. As a PRT Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Dance to students from Class 1 to Class 12. This is a full-time, senior-level position requiring a graduate degree in Dance or related field, along with 2 years of teaching experience in a school setup.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver Dance lessons to students in Class 1 to Class 12.
- Develop and implement Dance curriculum for students in collaboration with the school administration.
- Prepare students for board exams and assessments related to Dance.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in Dance.
- Collaborate with other PRTs and subject teachers to integrate Dance with other subjects.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for students in Dance classes.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of student performance in Dance.
- Participate in school events and activities related to Dance.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Dance or related field (B.Ed/D.El.Ed) and a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setup. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. You should have a strong background in Dance and excellent communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
