PRT Dance Teacher Position at Dips School, Jalandhar
Dips School in Jalandhar is seeking a dedicated PRT Dance Teacher to lead its dance program in Urban Estate. This role demands expertise in choreography, pedagogy, and student engagement across various age groups. Your responsibility will include designing curriculum-aligned dance sequences, integrating cultural and contemporary styles, and fostering creativity while adhering to school standards.
As a PRT, you’ll lead daily classes, ensuring students develop technical skills in ballet, folk, or modern dance. Assessment will focus on performance quality, movement precision, and participation levels, with practical evaluations during workshops and recitals. Collaborate with the arts faculty to align dance programs with academic goals, ensuring holistic student development.
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory, with a graduate degree in dance or related field preferred. Three years of teaching experience, especially in schools, is essential. While TET/CTET isn’t mandatory, a strong background in dance education would be advantageous.
