PGT Entrepreneurship Teacher Job in Ludhiana, Punjab | School Recruitment
What is this role?
The role is a full‑time PGT level Entrepreneurship Teacher at Dcm Young Entrepreneurs School Ludhiana, focused on nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets among secondary students. It involves curriculum delivery, assessment, and mentorship within a vibrant school environment.
What will I actually do?
You will design and teach interactive lessons on business planning, financial literacy, and innovation for classes 9 to 12. Classrooms will be supplemented with project‑based learning, where students create mini‑ventures and present pitch decks. You will guide students through market research, cost analysis, and prototype development, ensuring they apply theory to real‑world scenarios. Regularly, you will conduct workshops with local entrepreneurs, organize competitions, and help students prepare for national entrepreneurship contests.
What do I need to qualify?
A postgraduate degree is required, preferably in Business or Economics. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory for teaching; TET/CTET is preferred but not compulsory. The candidate must hold a valid teaching license and demonstrate a strong grasp of entrepreneurial concepts.
What experience is expected?
A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting is expected. Experience in conducting entrepreneurship projects or coaching students in business competitions will be an advantage. Familiarity with the Punjab curriculum and ability to integrate local business case studies is desirable.
What does it pay?
The salary range is Rs.35,000 – Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
