What You Will Do
Plan and implement engaging Social Science lessons for students
Develop and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
Prepare and submit reports to the administration
Collaborate with other teachers to enhance the curriculum
Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
Prepare and administer tests, quizzes, and assessments
Participate in school events and activities
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- Post-graduate degree in Social Science from a recognized university
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification with a valid TET/CTET certificate
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a PGT Social Science Teacher
Good to Have
- Experience in teaching through multiple mediums (English, Punjabi, Hindi)
- Familiarity with the Social Science curriculum of the Punjab Board
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Ability to think creatively and approach teaching from multiple angles
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs.45,000 - Rs.55,000, along with other benefits as per the school's policies.
