Cs Academy in Coimbatore North seeks a dedicated Special Educator to support its inclusive education framework. This role focuses on guiding the school’s special education initiatives, ensuring compliance with local and national guidelines while fostering a supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs.
You will oversee the implementation of specialized programs, collaborate with teachers and administrators to tailor educational strategies, and ensure all students receive appropriate accommodations. This includes monitoring progress, documenting student needs, and advising on resource allocation. You will also assist in training general educators on inclusive practices and participate in cross-departmental meetings to refine special education policies. Additionally, you will help coordinate with external agencies, such as social workers or therapists, to support student development. Your role will also involve maintaining records of special education interventions and ensuring alignment with school and government regulations.
A graduate degree with a minimum of three years of relevant experience is essential. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification will be highly valued, though not mandatory. Strong organizational skills, empathy, and a commitment to equity in education are crucial. Experience in special education administration or program coordination will be beneficial.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, based on performance and institutional standards. The role is based in Coimbatore North, with flexibility for occasional travel to nearby campuses.
