Role Summary
Good Shepherd International School in Kotagiri, Nilgiris, Tamilnadu, seeks an experienced PRT Evs Teacher to join our dynamic and inclusive faculty. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching Environmental Science.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a PRT Evs Teacher at Good Shepherd International School, you will be responsible for teaching various subjects related to Environmental Science, including curriculum design and implementation, lesson planning, delivery, and assessment. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Teaching Evs to students in classes VI to X
- Preparing and implementing curriculum for Environmental Science
- Conducting periodic assessments and providing feedback to students
- Organizing and supervising field trips and outdoor activities for students
- Developing and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to plan and execute projects and activities
- Maintaining accurate records and reports as required
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Science or Environmental Science, with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have cleared the TET or CTET exams.
