Job Description
This role is for a dedicated Environmental Studies (Evs) teacher to join Frontline Newgen International School in Tiruppursouth, Tiruppur. You’ll be responsible for delivering hands-on, experiential learning in Evs across different grade levels, ensuring students grasp concepts like sustainability, biodiversity, and eco-friendly practices through real-world applications.
Your daily tasks will include designing interactive lessons, organizing field trips to local conservation areas, and leading classroom discussions on environmental challenges. You’ll also collaborate with science teachers to integrate Evs into cross-curricular projects, ensuring students connect classroom knowledge with practical solutions. Fieldwork and community engagement will be part of your responsibilities, especially in projects like tree planting drives or waste management initiatives.
To qualify, you must hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a degree in any discipline. A TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. Your teaching experience should include at least two years in schools, ideally with a focus on environmental education or science subjects.
Frontline Newgen International School values experience in creating engaging, project-based learning environments. While prior Evs teaching isn’t strictly required, familiarity with curriculum-based fieldwork and student-centered pedagogy will be beneficial. Your ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners and work well in a collaborative school setting is essential.
This position offers a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
