Responsibilities
The PRT English Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that foster critical thinking and effective communication skills among students. Daily classroom activities will include reading comprehension, creative writing, and speaking exercises, ensuring students develop a strong command of the English language. The role requires collaboration with senior teachers to plan interdisciplinary projects and participation in school assemblies and cultural events to promote holistic learning.
Qualification
A graduate degree is mandatory, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. TET or CTET qualifications are preferred but not compulsory. Candidates must demonstrate strong command over English literature, grammar, and modern usage, and should be adept at using digital tools to enhance learning.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a school setting is required. Experience in teaching English to diverse student groups and familiarity with contemporary teaching methodologies will be advantageous.
Salary
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from Rs.10,000 to Rs.17,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
