PRT Social Science Teacher Position at Geniuses Public School, Bokaro
Geniuses Public School in Bokaro seeks a dedicated PRT Social Science Teacher to join its dynamic team. This role involves teaching Social Science subjects across classes while fostering a curious and engaged learning environment. The teacher will play a key role in shaping students’ understanding of history, geography, political science, and economics, ensuring age-appropriate and interactive lessons.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned with the curriculum. Prepare interactive teaching aids like maps, diagrams, and visuals to enhance student comprehension. Monitor student progress during lessons and address individual learning needs promptly. Maintain a structured classroom environment, ensuring discipline and a respectful learning atmosphere.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Coordinate with grade-level colleagues to design cohesive Social Science teaching strategies. Participate in weekly planning meetings to align lesson plans with school-wide academic goals. Assess student performance through regular quizzes, projects, and assignments to track progress. Collaborate with the school’s academic team to implement feedback and improve teaching methods.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend termly parent-teacher meetings to discuss student development and academic progress. Participate in school-wide workshops or training sessions to refine teaching techniques in Social Science. Ensure compliance with school policies on curriculum implementation and student safety.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is required. Three years of teaching experience, preferably in Social Science, is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial. The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in Bokaro, Jharkhand.
