Role Summary
The Post Graduate Teacher for Social Science will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and student-centered instruction to secondary school students. The teacher will integrate contemporary teaching methodologies, including technology-enhanced learning, to foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of social science concepts. Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver comprehensive lessons in Social Science that cover history, geography, political science, economics, and sociology, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum standards.
Employ diverse teaching methodologies such as inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, case studies, debates, and collaborative group work to enhance student engagement and understanding.
Incorporate technology into daily instruction through the use of interactive whiteboards, educational software, online research tools, digital mapping applications, and multimedia presentations to support differentiated learning.
Design and implement formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress, provide timely feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, respect for multiple perspectives, and the development of civic awareness and global citizenship.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and integrate social science themes across subjects.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior in accordance with school policies.
Participate in professional development programs, staff meetings, and parent-teacher conferences to support continuous improvement and community engagement.
Foster a growth mindset among students by encouraging curiosity, critical inquiry, and the application of social science knowledge to real-world issues.

Additional Context
