Role Summary
D.a.v. Alok Public School, a renowned educational institution in Rahe, Ranchi, Jharkhand, invites applications for the post of PGT Physical Education Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physical Education to students at the +2 level.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan, organize, and deliver lessons in Physical Education to students of classes 11 and 12.
2. Prepare and administer exams, assessments, and evaluations.
3. Develop and implement schemes of work, lesson plans, and resource materials.
4. Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and maintain records.
5. Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
6. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the Physical Education department.
7. Supervise students during physical education classes and activities.
8. Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement integrated programs.
9. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Principal or Head of Department.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed., or equivalent).
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. with a specialization in Physical Education.
- Valid CTET/TET (as per State Government norms).
Good to Have:
- Experience in teaching Physical Education at the +2 level.
- Knowledge of sports and games, including rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with assessment techniques and evaluation tools.
