Evs (NTT) Vacancy in Khed, Pune, Maharastra
Manshukhbhai kothari national school
Job Description
Manshukhbhai Kothari National School invites a dedicated Environmental Studies (EVS) teacher for its Non-Teaching faculty role in Khed, Pune. This position focuses on shaping young minds through hands-on learning in sustainability, ecology, and environmental awareness. As an NTT, you’ll support classroom instruction while contributing to the school’s broader ecological education goals.
Your primary role involves designing and delivering engaging EVS lessons aligned with the Maharashtra curriculum. This includes practical activities like field trips, nature studies, and project-based learning to foster environmental stewardship. You’ll also assist in organizing workshops, guest lectures, and community engagement initiatives that promote eco-conscious values among students.
The school expects a teacher who can blend theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. Your duties will span lesson planning, student mentorship, and collaborating with other faculty to integrate environmental themes across subjects. Experience in teaching EVS to students aged 6-12 would be particularly valuable, though a strong foundation in environmental science and education principles is essential.
For this role, a graduate degree is required, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification preferred. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in EVS or related subjects, will be advantageous. While TET/CTET certification isn’t mandatory, it would strengthen your application. Your salary will be competitive, ranging from Rs.12,000 to Rs.18,000 per month, depending on qualifications and performance.
This position offers a chance to make a lasting impact on students’ understanding of environmental issues while working in a supportive educational environment. Your passion for sustainability and teaching will be key to contributing effectively to the school’s mission.
