About This Role
Pune International School & Jr. College invites applications for the post of PRT (Physical and Environmental Science) to join its faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Environmental Science to students from classes VI to X. As a faculty member at our college, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and inspiring them to become environmentally conscious individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lectures on Environmental Science to students from classes VI to X.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and understanding.
- Provide guidance and support to students on research projects and assignments.
- Participate in curriculum development and revision to ensure integration of Environmental Science with other subjects.
- Conduct exams and assessments as per the institution's schedule.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the institution's environmental policies.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master's degree in Environmental Science or related field with minimum 55% marks.
-NET/SET/SLET qualification is mandatory for Assistant Professor positions, while Ph.D. is preferred.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. in Environmental Science or related field will be given preference.
