Role Summary
We are seeking a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Business Studies to join our faculty at St. Xaviers High School in Cuttack, Odisha. As a PGT Business Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Business Studies to students in senior secondary classes.
What You Will Do
1. Teach Business Studies to students in senior secondary classes.
2. Prepare students for board exams by providing them with study materials, guiding them through practical exercises, and conducting mock tests.
3. Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and identify areas of improvement.
4. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with varying learning styles.
5. Provide career guidance to students and help them make informed decisions about their future.
6. Mentor junior teachers and provide them with guidance and support.
7. Coordinate with other teachers to ensure seamless integration of subjects and activities.
8. Participate in school events and activities, such as parent-teacher meetings, career fairs, and business competitions.
Required Qualifications
- Post Graduate degree in Business Studies or a related field.
- B.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
- Experience in teaching Business Studies to senior secondary classes.
- Strong understanding of the Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) curriculum.
