St. Xavier High School | Chandiabiranchipur in Keonjhar Sadar is looking for a dedicated PRT Music Teacher. The role focuses on delivering engaging music lessons to secondary students while supporting the school’s extracurricular music program.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct weekly music lessons, covering theory, practice, and performance skills.
Coordinate and rehearse school concerts, inter‑school competitions, and cultural events.
Maintain instruments and music equipment, ensuring safety and proper storage.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects.
Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and staff.
Eligibility and Experience
Graduate degree required. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is preferred; TET/CTET is not mandatory.
Must possess strong knowledge of Indian classical and contemporary music styles.
Ability to inspire students and manage a classroom environment effectively.
Compensation and Location
Full‑time position with a salary range of Rs.14,000 – Rs.25,000 per month.
Based in Keonjhar Sadar, Kendujhar, Odisha.
