PRT English Teacher Job in Mukerian, Punjab
Kohinoor International School invites applications for the position of PRT English Teacher in Mukerian. This role focuses on delivering foundational English language instruction to students in Class I to V. The teacher will engage students through interactive lessons, grammar exercises, and storytelling to build fluency and comprehension.
The PRT will create age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum while incorporating modern teaching methods. Daily classroom activities will include phonics drills, vocabulary building, and simple reading passages to enhance early literacy skills. The teacher must ensure active participation from students through group discussions and hands-on exercises.
Assessment will be conducted through oral presentations, writing tasks, and small group quizzes. The PRT will also assist in preparing students for TET/CTET-based evaluations if required by the school. Strong communication skills and a passion for working with young learners are essential for this role.
Applicants must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree along with a graduate qualification. At least three years of teaching experience in English or related subjects is mandatory.
