PRT Physical Education Teacher Position at G.D. Goenka International School, Kapurthala
G.D. Goenka International School in Kapurthala seeks a qualified Physical Education Teacher to join its faculty. This role involves teaching students basic and advanced physical activities, sports, and fitness programs. The teacher will develop and implement structured lessons aligned with school curriculum standards.
The selected candidate will oversee sports sessions, organize extracurricular activities, and ensure students participate in team sports and individual exercises. Experience in sports coaching or fitness training will be beneficial. The role requires maintaining discipline, encouraging healthy habits, and adapting teaching methods for diverse student abilities.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. Previous experience in Physical Education or related fields is preferred. The salary for this position ranges from Rs.18,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, depending on qualifications and performance.
Daily attendance, lesson planning, and participation in school events are essential responsibilities. The teacher will collaborate with other faculty members to support student development in physical fitness. Safety protocols and adherence to school policies must be strictly followed.
