Role Summary
We are seeking a PGT Entrepreneurship Teacher to join our faculty at Dmc Young Entrepreneurs School in Ludhiana. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Entrepreneurship at the senior secondary level, preparing students for board exams, and mentoring students to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging Entrepreneurship lessons to students in grades 11 and 12
- Prepare students for board exams, focusing on practical application and theoretical knowledge
- Develop and implement entrepreneurial projects, encouraging students to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
- Mentor students to develop their entrepreneurial skills, including market research, financial planning, and risk management
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's Entrepreneurship curriculum
- Evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback to improve academic performance
- Participate in departmental meetings to discuss curriculum development and academic planning
- Attend school events, including parent-teacher meetings and career guidance sessions
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting student engagement and motivation
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments, best practices, and educational technologies
Eligibility
- Master's degree in Entrepreneurship or a related field (MBA, M.A., M.Sc)
- B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification
- 3 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school
- Strong subject matter expertise and pedagogical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to promoting student-centered learning and academic excellence
